yesterday it was raining while i was in my car. i live on a fairly busy street and while i was parking my car i noticed that the traffic going by on the wet street sounds very distinct, much different than traffic on a dry day. i rolled down the window and got out the minidisc recorder. the first distinct sound is a car that was stopped at the light driving away. the rest of the sounds are traffic going by. j3s also took several pictures from my car which i think visually capture the sound of the rain. i should point out that the pictures aren't from the street i live on.
