i can think of few things more annoying than a car alarm that goes off for two hours straight. this is from a green van parked in front of my house. at some point i got so frustrated i called 311. the operator at 311 informed me that i wasn't the first to call and that an officer would be out soon to take care of the matter. i was hoping for something more along the lines of a police swat team smashing out the windows and disconnecting the car alarm. quite some time later, while the alarm was still going off, i looked out the window and saw that there was a ticket on the window. i guess if they get enough of them maybe they will get the alarm fixed. while i was outside recording the van alarm, a different vehicle with the bass turned up too loud drove by. i'll leave the diatribe on cars with loud bass for a different time.
