we'll have a viewing party as soon as i get the heck out of DC. i'll definitely be home the weekend of the 26th, but may be back here depending on if we hit the deadline. we're busting our asses in the hopes we can get out of here on time, but i'm not counting on it.
i'll be @ ming&FS on the evening of 9/26, too. already got a ticket & atomly is doing a set that night - yippee! i really liked ming&fs last time i saw them; they blend the electronic with live instrumentation, which i am really down with. dj's are cool, but add in some live stuff & i'm all over that. probably why i don't get to as much stuff that is pure-electronic...

First time to this site. I'm Anthony (not my real name but it is earier to pronounce), and I was born and raised in Chicago. I used to live in Humboldt Park (the neighborhood, not the actual park), but moved north to Albany Park.
I was searching the internet to see if Jimenez (the mexican grocery store) still exists cuz I've noticed each store slowly changing names. I love the carnitas and salsa they make there.
Anyways, I stumbled upon fuckcorporategroceries.com, which made me laugh as I read through it. I followed a link to Smellen.com (she's REALLY cute), which I also read through. Finally, I followed a link to here. I like the site, and all the sound clips are excellent. I have to ask you, what do you use to record these clips? If it's not USB or firewire (or anything like that), how do ya get it to the computer? just sitting here curious.
